5 Ways To Celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month

It’s time to paint the town pink!! October is flooded with various holiday themes.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a great way to support a major cause. Did you know 1 out 8 with be effected by breast cancer? Your support for the cause makes a difference.

Fundraising efforts are common through residential management. LuxeGiving wanted to provide some affordable event ideas to help you paint the town pink.

1. Pamper Party

Massages for a cause! October through December can be a stressful time. Residents love being able to get massages, nail services and facials. Who will cover the cost? It’s totally up to the community. We’ve seen properties cover up to a specific number and additional residents will cover the balance. We’ve also experienced residents covering all of the service. A portion for the services can be used to raise money.

2. Pink Brunch

Pink waffles topped with whipped cream and strawberry compote. Do we have to say anything else? Pink themed brunches are a spin to the weekend breakfast event. Add on a raffle ticket drawing to raise additional fund!

3. Pop Up Restaurant

Dinner and a drink! Our pop up restaurant concept launched around a year ago. We have received a great response. Residents can enjoy a three course meal benefiting breast cancer awareness.

4. Pink Drink Bar

Bring on the drinks! Drink bars allow residents to mix and match their own signature cocktail. Drink bars or signature drinks with a silent auction will surely help raise funds.

5. Dessert Station

Dessert stations are the perfect option for communities that are limited in space or multiple buildings. Dessert stations with special pink decorations will leave a lasting impression.
